Months after reuniting with Kurupt to smash the hip-hop world with Tha Dogg Pound's CALI IZ ACTIVE, Daz Dillinger dropped arguably his hottest solo album to date, 2006's SO SO GANGSTA. Daz relocated to Atlanta to combine with Jermaine Dupri for this, his debut on Dupri's So So Def label and first major label release in a decade. With production help from No ID and Scott Storch as well as cameos by Kurupt, Snoop, Supafly, Rick Ross, and a ferocious appearance from Ice Cube, SO SO GANGSTA is another consistent effort from the original CHRONIC line-up, still the tightest artists on the West Coast.
