Eclectic Brit pianist Jools Holland (a member of Squeeze in their early days) is still at it, finding novel and fun ways to bring sounds of pop music past--rock, jump blues, rockabilly, swing, whatever--into the present with a bang. In 2003, Holland found it was a SMALL WORLD... after all, and decided on a third volume of this series. With guest singers including Buddy Guy, Smokey Robinson, Solomon Burke, Eric Clapton, Ron Wood, Nick Cave, jazz singer Jimmy Scott, and Prince Buster working out on some choice oldies, this set is a party waiting to happen.
