With his trademark gruff-voiced flow, inventive wordplay, and off-kilter rhyme schemes, Cappadonna has been one of Staten Island's most distinctive lyricists since he debuted alongside the Wu-Tang Clan in the mid 1990s. On his long-awaited fifth studio LP, SLANG PROSTITUTION, "Cappachino" turns introspective for his most personal album to date. Linking with fellow Wu-Tang brethren and a slew of talented underground producers, Cappadonna sports a new batch of oddball aliases (Don Knish, Diggler aka the Cab Driver), speaks of his true-life struggles on a series of a cappella interludes ("You Can't Keep a Good Man Down"), revisits childhood memories ("Do You Remember?"), and takes time to display his penchant for good old fashioned street-narratives ("Stories"). Raekwon, Masta Killa, Lounge Lo, and Jojo Pellegrino are featured.
