On their self-titled third full-length album, the Sights carry the torch of Detroit garage rock with enthusiasm and swagger. Clearly acolytes of the 1960s British Invasion sound, the Motor City group, fronted by singer/guitarist Eddie Baranek, mixes barnstormers (the bluesy, hard-driving "Last Chance") with mid-tempo numbers (the emotive "Waiting on a Friend," not to be confused with the Stones song of the same name), resulting in a thoroughly engaging and entertaining outing.
