Product note

Shocking Pinks: Nick Harte.

Title Note

Shocking Pinks: Nick Harte.

Shocking Pinks is the project of New Zealand pop wunderkind Nick Harte. Raised on a steady diet of shoegaze rock and classic kiwi pop, the young Harte secured a contract with the legendary Flying Nun label. Collected here are remastered tracks from those albums: MATHEMATICAL WARFARE and INFINITY LAND. Combing the hypnotic groove and blissed-out guitar drone of bands like My Bloody Valentine, with the shambolic, rag-tag energy of lo-fi punk, SHOCKING PINKS is a fine introduction to a rising young talent.
