Title Note

Living Legends crew members Grouch and Eligh released their fourth collaboration together with 2009's SAY G&E! The tracks here are infectious and bang as hard as they want to, but they also show an artistry and intelligence you're just not going to get in the mainstream. The fiercely independent pair represent the cream of the west coast underground crop, but also show a little love to other new-era knapsack rappers such as Slug and Sage Francis. Still, it is undoubtedly the legendary lyrical prowess of G and E that steals the show.
