Album Description

Saxon's self-titled debut album already hints at their future songwriting potential, but the dismal production makes a mess of early live favorites like "Still Fit to Boogie" and "Judgement Day," which sound muffled and uninspired. Only "Stallions of the Highway" (the first of many biker anthems) shows any promise of things to come. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
