Synopsis

The final four episodes of the 1930s set drama series SAM. Sam's mother Dora dies in childbirth and Sam is sent to Boarding School, but ultimately gets a job down the pit with his grandfather. Contains the episodes: "Where the Heart Is", "Home from Home", "No Going Back" and "Breadwinners."Young Sam is taken with his mother, Dora, to the mining village of Skellerton to live with her father Jack.
