This Greek film absorbs many of the hopes, fears, and dreams that are familiar to anyone looking to escape the everyday malaise they find themselves stuck in. A young woman pines for the big city life and the chance to become a singer while she wastes away in an industrial town. Seeking solace in the arms of a wandering stranger, she wills him to take her away from her miserable existence so she can fulfill her dreams. But director Panos Karkanevatos steers the film through some rocky terrain as everything doesn't quite play out as she'd hoped.
