Personnel: Chad Fischer (vocals, keyboards, bass guitar, drums); Keith England (vocals); Tim Bright (guitars, keyboards); Chris Link, Patrick Houlihan (bass guitar); Mike Knoblach (cowbells).

The soundtrack to the 2008 comedy THE ROCKER, starring Rainn Wilson (THE OFFICE TV series, JUNO), features a collection of songs performed largely by singer/multi-instrumentalist Teddy Geiger, who plays a central character in the film. Geiger's amiable, pop-savvy sound is embodied by the lively-yet-melancholy "Tomorrow Never Comes" and a surprisingly easy-going version of Poison's hair-metal anthem "Nothin' But a Good Time". The album also presents two tracks by Wilson's fictional former band, Vesuvius--the silly hard-rock numbers "Promised Land" and "Pompeii Nights." Ideal for fans of the movie, this compilation also serves as a stop-gap release for Geiger, after his well-received '06 debut, UNDERAGE THINKING.
