These Midwestern hardcore icons put their own warped spin on a style of music well-established by more bi-coastal acts. JUGGERNAUT is an emblematic distillation of their juvenile, Cali-influenced pranksterism and gritty, New York-inspired street riffs. The 2009 reissue of the 1986 LP is welcome for the much-needed polishing of its 10 existing tracks. But it also offers a substantial number of bonus cuts, like the blistering snottiness of "Twisted Road" and live renditions of wiseass anthems like "French People Suck," which for better or worse, were clearly an influence on future sick-joke punk outfits like A.C.
