Review

Alternative Press (p.160) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "Ghostland Observatory are just as likely to represent with a cranking guitar riff as they are an energy-laced laptop beat, and they excel when the two are intermeshed."
Harp (magazine) (p.112) - "Austin's electro-funk provocateurs bounce big plastique beats off synth-gleaming machine reveries on their third full-length..."
URB (Magazine) (p.106) - 4.5 stars out of 5 -- "Instrumental 'Holy Ghost White Noise' grooves to a Stevie Wonder stroll turning the superstitious into holy believer of gruff pop."

Title Note

Austin, Texas-based collaboration Ghostland Observatory combines rock with electronic dance-based beats and injects both with an unmistakable shot of soul. Sighting Prince and Freddy Mercury as well as Daft Punk and Green Velvet, this duo wiggles their way around many genres. ROBOTIQUE MAJESTIQUE (2008), their fourth album, flows with the cohesion that comes from having a few albums under their belt.

The 4th album might very well be the most well rounded go from Ghostland Observatory. An energetic hybrid combo of harder Rock riffs and electronic musings.
