Fiona Apple is the most contemporary of all the artists on the album, not that it really matters, however, because the Beatles' work is timeless enough to sound good in almost any era, which means that Hooters take on "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," Kansas' "Eleanor Rigby," and the Thompson Twins' "Revolution" are all pretty decent. Harry Nilsson's addition, "You Can't Do That" is actually ten Beatles' songs in one, and works great with the rest of the record, as does the Jeff Healey's super bluesy version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (not that it wasn't bluesy before but Healey really accentuates it).
