When something works, you stick with it. When the REGGAE GOLD compilation proved to be such a huge success, VP records made it an annual staple in their catalogue. Each volume in the series has picked up where the others left off, presenting the hottest acts in reggae at the height of their game. While those more interested in organic-sounding roots reggae might be better served by the sublime EASY STAR compilation, the more pop-crossover-inclined reggae enthusiasts will find REGGAE GOLD to be just their cup of tea. The star power here is undeniable, with Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Beenie Man and a host of others doing what they do best. If you bought the other REGGAE GOLD collections, you won't be able to bypass this one.
