The 12 chicos from Jalisco, Mexico continue to offer the very finest in banda music on RANCHERAS DE ORO. Credited by many with having conceived the quebradita sound, when Banda Machos plays, people listen, sing and dance! The group's combination of choppy, groovy keyboard slivers with a blazing, strident horn section is the current that always carries its winning vocal harmonies. The opening track alternates a theme of "love of all loves" with staccato gusts from the horns, while "Mi Golondrina" then ups the ante with an even more exciting brass melody and more sweet words of romance. The hopping-fast "No Compro Amores" is a testament to what a great banda can do when it comes to a polka.
