Title Note

Personnel includes: Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Nat "King" Cole, Peggy Lee, Maurice Chevalier, Dennis Day, Jimmy Durante, The Mills Brothers, Bob Hope, Burl Ives, Kay Thompson, The Williams Brothers, Rudy Vallee, George Burns, The Andrews Sisters.

Includes liner notes by Dave Dexter, Jr.

All the music heard here was recorded between 1946 and 1954, during Bing Crosby's postwar singing career. Crosby teams up with some of the great entertainers of the 20th century, including Peggy Lee, Bob Hope, Maurice Chevalier, and Judy Garland.

Highlights include George "Sugar Throat" Burns' goofy version of "It Might as Well Be Spring," and Jimmy Durante's raspy toned comedy on "You Gotta Start Off Each Day With a Song." However, Crosby's jazzy version of "Everybody Loves My Baby" is perhaps the most endearing of the many selections included on this expansive compilation.
