Few things could be more symbolic of the joys of childhood than the faithful anticipation of Christmas, beginning somewhere between the final taste of Halloween candy and Santa's sleigh's arrival in New York City's Herald Square. Disney's airwave arm, Radio Disney, has popped up in cities around the world, renovating pop radio with a youthful eye, and RADIO DISNEY: JINGLE JAMS perfectly matches the mostly teenage and younger artists predominant on the station with a selection of songs of the season, some old, some new. Hilary Duff and Stacie Orrico try their hand at standards "Santa Claus Lane" and "White Christmas," respectively. Others like Ashlee Simpson and Skye Sweetnam opt for a more modern representation of Christmas, with the latter's "Why Doesn't Santa Like Me?" being a particularly endearing, earnest number. All the tracks on JINGLE JAMS glimmer with the sheen of Disney production, as the disc offers a host of fun for the holidays.
