Tab Benoit is a gritty singer/guitarist who has mastered all the gradations of Americana, from blues to gospel to folk. On this 2007 release, he lends his soulful voice to a smoking set of songs; highlights include a Cajun-inflected cover of "For What it's Worth," the bluesy original "Don't Make No Sense," and the sexy rocker "Addicted."
