Welsh heavy-metal quartet Bullet for My Valentine began making serious headlines in the metal press in 2005, and with good reason. The band combines a vintage U.K. metal sound (think Iron Maiden and Judas Priest) with the ferocity of 21st-century metalcore and the emotional angst of emo. Album Description

Debut full-length album, following their self-titled EP, from Welsh metallers who won Best British Newcomer at the 2005 Kerrang Awards. Sporting a hard-edged yet melodic sound reminiscent of fellow countrymen Funeral For A Friend as well as thrashier, more 80s-influenced acts like Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold, the album was produced by the legendary Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Cathedral, Earthtone 9) and includes the singles 'Four Words' and 'Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow'.
