Title Note

Fans of the band Thrice are already familiar with lead singer Dustin Kensrue's plaintive vocals, incisive, often Christian-themed lyrics, and melodically rich songwriting. His solo debut airlifts all these qualities and sets them down in a quieter, though no less impassioned, milieu. Kensrue delivers intense outlaw-country shuffles ("I Knew You Before"), low-slung, Band-esque rockers ("I Believe"), and straight-up power ballads (the title track) with equal skill.
