With PLAGUES, its second outing for the Victory-affiliated Rise label, the Christian metalcore act The Devil Wears Prada reinforces the notion that it isn't fashionable and accessible like the best-selling novel of the same name. Instead, the Dayton, Ohio-based sextet excels at scathing tunes that showcase frontman Mike Hranica's throat-scraping vocals and its fierce, dual-guitar attack, as best evinced by the searing "Hey John, What's Your Name?"

The Devil Wears Prada is awesome. I thought they were really good on their first cd Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord but they were really awesome in Plagues. With songs like Hey John, Whats Your Name Agian? and Html Rulez D00d. I personally love how they put such a power sound in their music but also get the word out about GOD and salvation. Their trully awesome.
