Boston-based singer-songwriter Lori McKenna famously didn't begin her career in earnest until the age of 27. Following a pair of under-the-radar albums of gentle country-tinged folk-pop, McKenna saw three of her songs picked up and recorded by none other than Faith Hill for her hugely successful 2005 album FIREFLIES. A major-label recording contract, an appearance on OPRAH, and a tour with Hill and her husband, Tim McGraw, soon followed, making McKenna perhaps the most in-demand stay-at-home mom in America. Her major label debut, UNGLAMOROUS, was released in 2007.
