Collectables' ten-song Joey Dee & the Starliters' collection from 2005, Peppermint Twist omits "Shout, Pt. 1." Not a smooth move really, especially considering that this is the only single-disc Dee collection available as of 2005. Instead of "Shout, Pt. 1" you get some good stuff -- the crazed B-side of "Peppermint Twist" ("Peppermint Twist, Pt. 2"), some raw and loose covers of R&B hits ("Ya Ya," "C.C. Rider," "Kansas City"), another "Twist" tune, and a nice ballad ("I Lost My Baby") that shows the sensitive side of the wild nightclub rockers.
