AHI VIENE MARTIN CORONA: A gambler and a womanizer, Martin Corona is also the poor's advocate and the hoodlums' worst nightmare. They get drunk celebrating New Year's Eve and her parents find them passed out in each other's arms the next morning. They're forced into a sham marriage that's intended to soon be followed by a divorce. Meanwhile, the mechanic must assume the guise of a European nobleman when being introduced to his new bride's acquaintances. The revered Pedro Infante, who'd played the lead in more than 50 Mexican films and recorded 366 songs, was killed in a plane crash at the age of 40 the year after this Spanish-language comedy was released.
