Title Note

New Orleans-based blues rock singer and piano player Marcia Ball returns with the spirited PEACE LOVE AND BBQ. Ball's first album written and recorded since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, PEACE LOVE AND BBQ exemplifies the resilient spirit inherent in the album's title, although the heartbroken ballad "Where Do You Go?" is a passionate and intense response to the city's loss. Elsewhere, Ball's familiar swamp-rock boogie pulses through "Party Town" and "Right Back In It."

A really fun party album! I saw her this weekend in Virginia Beach at an outdoor concert and what a blast she is. Marcia is a GREAT performer and this is a must have album!!!
