CHICHI PERALTA: ARTIST PROFILE

Chichi Peralta was born on July, 9th 1966 in Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. At the age of four, Peralta first expressed interest in music by building his own set of drums.

To develop his skill and appreciation of Dominican roots music, Chichi Peralta played in several musical groups throughout his youth, worked as a composer for Television and Commercials, and pitched two complete productions with the London Symphonic Orchestra. In 1997, at the age of 31, he released his debut album on Caiman Records, "Pa' Otro La'o", on which all the tracks were self-edited and produced...Read More.
