Title Note

After slugging it out on the local Nashville scene, Trailer Choir caught its big break when the band was tapped by Toby Keith to open 49 shows on his national tour. Composed of the unlikely trio of an Ohio singer-songwriter, a blonde bombshell Louisiana vocalist, and Big Vinny, a physically imposing singer known for his one-liners and onstage breakdancing moves, the group won fans with a good-time, vocal harmony-laden brand of contemporary country music. The combo's first full-length release, OFF THE HILLBILLY HOOK, revealed a keen sense of humor, with songs such as "My Next 5 Beers," which details the narrator's lack of career ambition, and the hit "Rockin' the Beer Gut," which celebrates a female tavern denizen possessed of some "extra love around her waist."
