Somewhere between All-American Rejects and Lady Gaga lie the Friday Night Boys, a power emo band from Fairfax, Virginia, with frat-party attitude and just a touch of dance-pop hookery. On the quartet's 2009 debut, OFF THE DEEP END, the group easily, breezily tears through 12 tales of young lust, debauchery, and the occasional awkward moment. It's the pop punk speed fans have come to expect from the Fueled By Ramen label, but with an emphasis on the genre's first word.
