A superb introduction to the mission of 2L, The Nordic Sound is a compilation of the most excellent recordings 2L has to offer. Norway's beautiful churches and cathedrals offer 2L second-to-none spaces in which to record music. The Nordic Sound includes selections from fifteen of 2L's best SACD and Blu-ray audio recordings performed by some of the most talented musicians in Norway. Two of the albums featured on The Nordic Sound were nominated for Grammy Awards; Divertiment (2L50SABD) for "Best Surround Sound Album," "Best Small Ensemble" (Trondheim Solistene), and "Best Engineering," and Immortal Bach (2L29SABD) for "Best Choral Performance" (Ensemble 96) and "Best Surround Sound Album".
