As one-time Los Bukis singer and longtime Mexican pop heartthrob Marco Antonio Solis recorded NO MOLESTAR, he was approaching 50. Undaunted by the milestone, Solis feels the yen to experiment and expand on his eighth solo record. Elements of calypso, cha cha cha, and even American country sneak into Solis's style on NO MOLESTAR as Solis ups the showman ante, a modern-day, Spanish-speaking Tom Jones, commanding the listener's attention, radiating an older-but-wiser sensuality. The tempo ranges from the festival atmosphere of the title track to the brassy torch song sincerity of "Hasta Cuando," but the passion never ebbs.
