For the lighthearted 2008 adventure movie NIM'S ISLAND, based on a popular children's novel, the filmmakers enlisted veteran Scottish composer Patrick Doyle to create a bright, lively score. Highlights of the orchestral album include the shimmering title track, the dramatic "Become the Hero," and the heartwarming "Nim Sees Jack," which convey the appealing range of the entertaining story.
