Personnel: Oscar Pettiford (cello, bass); Phil Urso, Al Cohn (tenor saxophone); Serge Chaloff (baritone saxophone); Red Rodney (trumpet); Julius Watkins (French horn); Earl Swope (trombone); Terry Gibbs, Louis Hjulmand (vibraphone); Walter Bishop, Barbara Carroll, Jan Johansson (piano); Charles Mingus (bass); Percy Brice, Denzil Best (drums).

Recorded in New York, New York on March 10, 1949 and December 29, 1953. Originally released on Debut (8).

Digitally remastered by Kirk Felton (1999, Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California).
