Annotation

Before the wedding, Patricia Grant had reluctantly agreed to Philip Westas unreasonable demand that they would have no children. Within a month of getting married, Philip began a series of affairs, and Pat quickly grew bitter with his lies and lame excuses and his objection to starting a family.
