As the title suggests, Movie Romance collects romantic music from over 30 years' worth of movie history, drawing from films like Titanic, Summer of '42, The Godfather, and The Way We Were. "A Time for Us" from Romeo & Juliet, the theme from Beauty and the Beast, and "I Will Always Love You" from The Bodyguard are among some of the collection's high points. However, the album doesn't feature the original renditions of these pieces: The versions included here are based primarily around strings and piano. That doesn't make these interpretations bad -- it just means that they're more suited to dinner ambience or a romantic evening than to a movie buff's library. With that in mind, Movie Romance does a good job of borrowing some of film's most romantic melodies and transforming them into mood music. ~ Heather Phares
