Review

Kerrang (Magazine) (p.50) - "MOTORIZERis a solid Motorhead album, one which places its faith in the one thing Lemmy is still willing to believe in -- rock'n'roll."
Mojo (Publisher) (p.110) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]his is an utterly unbridled outing....They deliver thunderously within parameters ranging from Ramonesy punk/thrash to Ted Nugenty riffola..."
Record Collector (magazine) (p.94) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "There's much vitality about the trio's latest LP....When Lemmy, Phil Campbell and the monstrously-good drummer Mikkey Dee are on form, they pack one hell of a punch."

Title Note

Motorhead: Lemmy Kilmister (vocals, bass guitar); Philip Campbell (guitars); Mikkey Dee (drums).

Audio Mixer: Cameron Webb.

The speed-fueled, booze-soaked lifestyle of Mot”rhead leader Lemmy Kilmister should have separated him from our planet long ago, but here we are marveling at the release of the band's unthinkable 24th album. MOTORIZER is Mot”rhead, pure and simple. Their rumbling, tar-black motorbike sound is fully intact and uncompromised, with mission statements like the hard-charging, punky "Rock Out" showcasing their knack for a stadium-filling anthem. Lemmy's voice is seasoned to perfection with Virginia tobacco and Tennessee whiskey, and roadhouse rockers like "Back on the Chain" and "(Teach You How To) Sing the Blues" find him in fine form. If you're looking for evolution or musical experimentation, look elsewhere, but if you just want to hear uncut rock and roll, MOTORIZER should do the trick.

TOWER.COM REVIEW

Motörhead – Motörizer

On August 26th, 2008, British heavy metal band, Motörhead, release Motörizer, their 20th studio album! Produced by Cameron Webb and recorded at Dave Grohl’s 606 Studios in Los Angeles, Motörizer delivers in-your-face, rock-out-with-your-unmentionables-out tracks that make this a classic Motörhead album sure to please anyone who is a fan of their 80s, chart-topping hits. Early reviews praise the album for remaining true to the Motörhead sound, deviating little from the tried-and-true formula that made them famous in the first place. Motörizer is sure to be another solid album from an iconic band.

5 out of 5 stars Ranks Right Up There With The Best!, October 2, 2008

My ears are still ringing a half hour later after listening to "Motorizer" in its entirety. Crank this one way up (in your headphones) to enjoy this. Belongs right up there with "Bomber", "Ace Of Spades" and "Iron Fist".
