Bike For Three! is a cross-continental, long-distance collaboration between veteran underground MC Buck 65 and Belgian electronica producer Jo‰lle Phuong Minh Lˆ (aka Greetings From Tuskan). The results are consistently captivating, providing a needed counter-ambience to Buck's usual rustic eccentricity. There are times, such as on "Always I Will Miss You. Always You," when it's hard not to yearn for Minh Le's lush, glitchy soundscapes to play uninterrupted, but Buck is a clever, engaging wordsmith, and is at his most vulnerable on this unique--and often stunning--collection of heartbreak reminiscences.
