The infamous era of denim and leather makes a triumphant return with MONSTERS OF ROCK VOL. 2. Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum fell back from the Vinnie Vincent invasion to forge out on their own and steal the show with "Fly to the Angels." Supergroup Asia was MTV's "Heat of the Moment" as the group brought progressive rock to mainstream audiences. Ricky Nelson's twin sons that led the band of their namesake deliver irresistible soft-rock harmonies in "Love and Affection (Can't Live Without Your Love)." Art-rock pioneers Yes had their first taste of worldwide commercial fame as "Owner of a Lonely Heart" dominated album-oriented rock radio stations. The Outfield's Tony Lewis hit a home run with McCartneyish charm and a soaring tenor voice in "Your Love."

Vixen and Scandal took cues from bands like Heart, showing that women can rock just as hard with "Edge of a Broken Heart" and "The Warrior." Underrated rock legend Joe Lynn Turner took his turn at the helm of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow with "Stone Cold." MONSTERS OF ROCK VOL. 2 highlights some of rock music's finer moments from the '80s and '90s, making it a must-have collection for aficionados of the era.
