With a dabbler's enthusiasm for electronics and a musician's ear for production, Neil Fraser, aka the Mad Professor, has been a fixture on the vibrant UK reggae scene since the late 1970s. The two-disc compilation METHOD TO THE MADNESS collects a sampling of the cuts that have made his South London-based Ariwa record label legendary and his production skills sought-after among musicians from Perry Farrell to Jamiroquai. Disc Two features a selection of his collaborations over the years with an impressive array of artists, including eccentric dub reggae prophet Lee Perry, reggae-punk group Ruts DC, and chill-out wizards the Orb.
