On 2008's MEMORY AND HUMANITY, its first outing for Victory Records, the Welsh post-hardcore group Funeral for a Friend presents another round of emotive heavy rock. Despite the band's return to an indie label (after departing Atlantic), the ensemble sounds as accessible as ever amidst its guitar-driving fury, as best heard on "Kicking and Screaming."
