Title Note

Molly Jenson's first LP is an assured assortment of tuneful, meatily produced (by Greg Laswell) pop in the vein of Sheryl Crow or Joan Osborne. Even when she sounds melancholy or even glum, as on "Beginning Here," there's a resilience and end-of-the-day optimism to this San Diegan's vocals. On the peppy "Thinking of You," she even makes the refrain "I can't stop thinking of you," sound like a cry of pride. Switchfoot's lead singer, Jon Foreman, appears for a duet, just as Jenson did on Foreman's SPRING EP. MAYBE TOMORROW was re-released in 2009 after nearly four years of obscurity (it was originally an independent release), but its mainstream pop appeal is evergreen.

MORE ABOUT THIS TITLE

"One of the three best new artists on MySpace." - Teen Vogue Magazine

Jenson has stayed busy throughout the summer playing with artists such as Greg Laswell and Cary Brothers, Jenson has frequented hot spots like Hotel Café and the Gypsy Lounge.

Singing songs about everyday life and the ability to relate to the audience makes “seeing Jenson live a privilege,” noted the Vanguard Review. Jenson’s down to earth attitude is evident both on stage and in interviews.

Being compared with artists like Priscilla Ahn and Ingrid Michaelson, Jenson is being hailed as a gifted singer/songwriter with a solid future ahead of her and her debut CD Maybe Tomorrow, scheduled for release on March 3rd, 2009 is being heralded as a CD worth waiting for.
