On their 2009 full-length debut, MANNERS, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based indie-pop ensemble Passion Pit present a lively set of highly melodic, synth-laden tunes. Sharing a collegiate, keyboard-loving aesthetic with acts such as Chester French and MGMT, the band, fronted by youthful singer Michael Angelakos, shines on "Make Light," "The Reeling," and other buoyant tracks.
