Though not as successful in the U.K. as preceding albums, 2007's MAKE ANOTHER WORLD is one of Idlewild's strongest outings. Bristling with immediacy, the record is easily the Scottish alternative-rock ensemble's heaviest offering, as evinced on the driving rhythms and barbed guitar parts of "If It Takes You Home" and "A Ghost in the Arcade."
