Title Note

One of the true O.G.'s in rap, Too Short was laying down raw rhymes about violence, sex, and life on the streets years before "gangsta rap" was a definable genre. Too Short began making a name for himself in Oakland in the early 1980s, and through a series of gold and platinum albums in the '80s and '90s came to be seen as one of the founding fathers of hardcore rap.
