Born Terius Nash, the Atlanta singer-songwriter known as the Dream had already written a handful of smash hits (Rihanna's "Umbrella" and J. Holiday's "Bed," among others) before he blew up with a single of his own, "Shawty is Da Sh*t (10)." On his debut album LOVEHATE, the Dream mixes a contemporary R&B sensibility with 1980s nostalgia. The throwback production on "Fast Car," "Purple Kisses," and "Luv Songs" is evocative of '80s icons such as Prince, Cameo, and Rick James at their best. LOVEHATE features guest appearances from Fabolous and Rihanna.

This Album is on fire! I purchased it because I love the song falsetto but, to my surprise the whole album is HOT! My favorite song is Fast Car only because it takes me back to the prince days with the heavy guitar and the falsetto. HOT,HOT,HOT!
