The couple met at an ashram in India so it is no surprise that all the tracks on LOVE IS SPACE are traditional mantras and Hindu chants. What makes Premal stand out among the growing field of chant music is her unique voice and Miten?s studio expertise. ?Om Shree Sache ? is a mantra usually chanted in a monotone with little thought to performance. Premal and Miten chose to record it like a great vocalist might, with breathy phrasing and unusual stresses swirling in atmosphere and the sound of a subtle rain stick.
