Singer/songwriter Rahsaan Patterson exudes the definition of soul. His sophomore album for MCA Records, LOVE IN STEREO, is packed with songs that bleed harmonies, arrangements, and textures of decades past. But don't let that fool you into thinking that he's behind the times; Patterson's sound is a perfect mix of contemporary stylings and the classic songwriting style of '70s R&B. Patterson co-executive produced the entire project and co-wrote the majority of the tracks on the album. Songs like "The Day," "Friend of Mine," and "The Moment" offer auditory delights for anyone who enjoys the funk, soul, and R&B of a bygone era.

A cadre of producers helps lend Patterson's songs a contemporary flair, including Soulshock and Karlin ("Do You Feel The Way I Do"), Van Hunt ("Sure Boy"), and Steve "Silk" Hurley ("Get Here").
