LOUD LIKE NATURE is arguably Add N to X's most cohesive album. While fans of the in-your-face noise blitzkrieg of early albums like ON THE WIRES OF OUR NERVES and AVANT HARD may bemoan the poppier elements of this outfit's fifth effort, it's hard to deny that the band has grown as its songwriting skills sharpen. Synth-drenched, groove-driven tunes like "Total All Out Water" and "Sheez Mine" invite singalongs and shaking hips without sacrificing Add N's raucous, punky energy. It's this balance that makes LOUD LIKE NATURE one of the their best.
