The Texas-based Eli Young band is part of the grass-roots Red Dirt scene, where country and organic, hard-driving roots-rock intertwine. The Red Dirt scene is centered on live shows, so the LIVE AT THE JOLLY FOX album is unsurprisingly the best way to hear Young and his band, as they rip through rockers like "Drive Away" and "Guardian Angel," with loud, dirty guitars blazing.
