This dubious set of live Mountain recordings by Airline Records lists only the original 1969 lineup of the band -- guitarist Leslie West, bassist Felix Pappalardi, drummer Corky Laing, and keyboard player Steve Knight. That said, the sound on this recording is contemporary and feels more like a solo West recording or the numerous reunion recordings made by West and Laing with pickup bass players. Whatever it is, it does not sound like the legendary band. The performance is alright, consisting mainly of the band's best-known hits such as "Mississippi Queen," "Nantucket Sleighride," and "Theme for an Imaginary Western," etc. But even here, these tracks and virtually everything else here has been issued on official bootlegs and other live recordings that are superior in performance. ~ Thom Jurek
