It's a testament to the strength and consistency of the band's trademark alternative rock-meets-power-pop songwriting that MAJOR LODGE VICTORY-era songs such as "Learning the Hard Way" and "Fool For the Taking" sit so perfectly right alongside radio classics "Hey Jealousy" and "Follow You Down." Throughout, the band sounds tight and focused, even on an unexpected cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man."
